Airbnb becomes major Olympic partner

In the last few years, the Hotel companies’ sponsorship of sports clubs or events have been very visible:

Hilton has been F1 sponsor for many years, although the outreach is questionable.

Marriott, on the other hand, has been sponsoring rugby for some years too.

Accor has paid a high fee to sponsor the Paris Saint Germain t-shirt in a move to launch its’ updated loyalty program.

Now, we see the bold move from Airbnb becoming a main Olympic partner, positioning themselves as THE reference when it comes to this sort of sponsorship, as it links the sponsorship of the brand as such, with their values about improving the community where the Games are hosted.
